I'll repeat what I said earlier in the day, in that I think today's move upwards was likely due to the possibility of impending changes/announcements from the Fed Govt re climate change & renewable energy policy (esp. relating to the geothermal sector).

Taking a look at today's market movers overall, the geothermals were the big gainers, with EDE, PTR, GHT, TEY, & GRK all up very strongly. GDY were also up solidly, after being up stongly yesterday (along with PTR).

Let's hope Julia (Ms Fixit) Gillard decides to throw a few dollars in the direction of the geothermals to restore some lost credibility prior to the election...
