Well if their thinking shows their stupidity in YOUR opinion - then, does the same rule apply to you if there is such a power to do so?
you might be on dangerous ground there as there is a precedent
It's been done before - legislated - then, the legislation reversed - but, can be reversed again -
so - the power IS there to change things and to dump representatives ---------- be it wise or unwise
if you begin to see petitions with millions of voters signing up ------------- as a politician - one would be rather smart to take notice of that
now - think about it from a political POV -- if you were a Liberal government in trouble and you saw millions signing petitions wanting a change - dumping someone -
would you sit back and think? --------- hmmmm, if we went with this - we would win some votes -
now - chances are the Labor and Greens etc would want this guy gone (so, they may well make it bipartisan because they would look pretty bad to want him to stay) ----------so, you might squeak it through - regardless of whether it's a good idea or not --
maybe those people aren't that stupid eh? - Maybe it's just you lack imagination
