I cant help but feel that all of this is just a re-run of the 1970s.
Conservative government thrown out after being in too long, replaced by a youthful and progressive opposition, keen to change the world.
An election campaign run like a presidential campaign with its time for change as the key message.
Concessions to aboriginals, dodgy loans, focus on China, high oil prices, inflation - I cant help but feel it will end the same way as well.
