These continued errors are not stumblings. They are not some natural state of God's people bouncing from error to error until by divine inspiration they finally get it right.

The facts are these, simple and unequivocal.
There is no such thing as God's people. If God exists then all people are God's people.
The, stumbling is a general term for errant religious forms. A better version of (Matthew 18:7) is, Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

These offences are against the true moral, ethical and spiritual intent of religious teachings. The first and most grand offence is to suggest that any single peoples, religion or belief system is exclusively a class of people called, God's people.

The second offence is manmade, dogmatic interpretation of scriptural texts as though some exclusive insight alone is in the hands of a select few. Error after error is not stumbling, it is error and the surest way to know a religion is manmade is by the extent of their scriptural and prophetic errors. The Jehovah Witness are second to none when it comes to error and backing away from grand statements that have always caught them out.

for it must needs be that offences come - We live in a world of relative states, good/bad, black/white, true/false, etc, etc. When offences come, such as (failed or false prophecy, scriptural error after error) this gives people of insight the information they need to reject such a religion based on its false claims, or stumbling, as you put it. The offences, or errors, or stumbling, of the Jehovah Witness and many others are a blessing because it points true seekers in other, more legitimate directions.

Mistakes and false prophecy by a religion can not be claimed as virtues.

Does mistakes, false prophecy and scriptural error - automatically disqualify an organization from being God's people? Absolutely!
