Both you and darkroom don't know the facts.
There never was a prophecy about 1975. Nothing ever written stated 1975 was the end that the Bible spoke of. People had their own expectations and got disappointed because they were 'in the truth' for the 'end' and not because of love for God. If someone got stumbled it is because they did it to themselves.
The second point you try to push is that Jehovah's Witnesses can't be Christians because they admit not having an understanding correct? That's a lesson you need to learn from.
Any decent person let alone a Christian should be prepared to admit a misunderstanding. If only the Catholic Church and all the rest would admit their own errors instead of misleading the entire inhabited Earth with false doctrine.
Why don't you read the Bible. You will find that several of Jesus followers made mistakes and guess what - they were not rejected as Christians. Take the Apostle Peter for eg - denied Jesus 3 times - yet Jesus appointed him to use 'Keys ' to open up the preaching work to first the Jews, then the Samaritans, then the Gentiles. If a person or a group of people or an organization like a human government can't admit they are have misunderstood something they are not worth knowing. Can you admit yours???
You both publish such tripe and act as though you know everything. Yet I haven't seen either of you ever explain a scriptural truth.
Jehovah's Witnesses know more about the scriptural truths from the Bible than anything you've said so far.
