I’m not convinced team Trump would come to the rescue if China became aggressive. I’m not even sure why right wing Australians are rooting for team Trump given the administrations inability to maintain its decades old alliances. Not sure which playbook says “Pander to your foes and alienate your friends” which is what team Trump are doing. See North Korea, China (with supply of Pork and Soy). If team Trump are serious about China then they halt the sale of anything that is critical for the Chinese dictatorship to succeed and encourage their allies to do the same. This war is about ideology and Trump has made it clear that he is prepared to burn anyone for America first. Why all the Australian glee?
