Interestingly the Chinese dont seem to be aiming at any such challenging space trips Rogues.Me thinks they have their feet firmly planted on planet earth and will buy as much of it as they can,whilst they can.

Even though they have 1.5-2 trillion in surplus one doesnt see them willing to chuck any away into the vaccumous void above,unless its for satellites of course.

Its an interesting philosophical question as to whether they do eventually go exploring in space.There will probably come a time soon when the US may not even be able to afford their little jaunts to the space station.

As T4 says theres an overall shift of economic power happening right now and my ultimate vision(unrealistic though it may be)is one of the Americams riding pushbikes around on their freeways rather than the age old American internal combustion engine getting them around.
