Is the PDL purchasing that bigger suprise - perhaps - but this is what collectionhouse said back early december..
"The company has also announced that PDL investment commitments to date have increased for FY16 to $61 million, which is 85 per cent of FY15 investment. We achieved a higher market share than expected in the last major PDL forward flow for FY16."
That probably suggests to me the whole pie has expanded in terms of ledger acquisitions.
CCP is forecasting very minimal acquisitions in 2H, so maybe this is all a one off bonanza?
