Yeah, it is one of my few holdings where I don't care too much about the share price short term. I get nervous when the SP drops in most companies, wondering if a downgrade is coming. Not CCP. If CCP keep delivering like this, the capital gains will continue to come. Meanwhile the dividends are OK too!
I hope we will shortly see a renewed analysis by Pioupiou. The nature of this result makes me wonder if they control the profit a bit by ramping up loans and debt purchases when profit is looking very strong so they can make provisions while still exceeding profit guidance. They are certainly building future value while allowing current profit to be robust. Looks pretty well managed to me.
