Technical Analysis from A>Z has the basic pattern with 8 waves,5 up (1,2,3,4,5) and 3 down (a,b,c).Waves1,3,5 inpulse waves,waves 2,4 are connective waves. Waves A,B,Cconnect the maintrend of waves 1 to 5.Hope this helps but its as clear as mud to me!.
