In time, based on the location, geology, mineralisation style and assay results released to date the Wattle Dam deposit has the potential to host a gold resource similar or indeed substantially more than the mined Ghost Crab deposit (Newcrest 1996 resource 7.8Mt @ 4.7g/t Au for 1,2Moz Au) situated 34km to the north.
Obviously its early days, however, similarities at this early exploration stage are evident.
