Yes goofy. A few rotary kiln of this size, not for a REE obviously but very similar. Mineral sand and cement producers use a similar set up.
Obviously the gas trains need to be tweeked also. So to fire it up, dry it out and adjust anything with regards to the gas burners is a must do prior to full time use. Once in full time use they are rarely switched off.
