Clearly if the kiln is being warmed up next week it is significant. I take all the possibilities you mention on board. It does not guarantee the TOL, that is in hands of Malaysian govt. However, it does confirm the way Lynas are thinking.
In hindsight, I would never have bought a single Lynas share until I had news confirmed that the kiln was going through such a process, it's such a big clue!
I am certain the market will react when this news is confirmed, which I imagine will be in the form of a Lynas ASX ann at the very least. Hopefully more information can come to light through unofficial sources and even eye witness accounts and I will write to Lynas IR after next Wednesday to ask for confirmation if I have not seen it anywhere else.
