To answer your last question - yes. Of course they misled the market to get the SPP across the line, but what's new in that? Most companies misled the public. Or, to be politically correct, put positive spin on the facts and expectations.
Davepan, you are one of the few posters here with their eyes wide open, but even you, I believe, are putting too high a value on monies remaining.
$7M from the capital raising LESS charges. Even if the underwriter doesn't get a cent, which I doubt, prospectus and management costs could run into the hundreds of thousands on a $7M play.
From what's remaining we must deduct the $2.9M debenture notes redeemed. So I don't see where your $5M figure can be right.
But, hey, who am I to baulk at 2 times my investment. As long as the public wants to pay more, than I say Hooray! Let's Keep going up.
