    You are both right, they are planning to do the clinical trials with intraperitoneal injection of the cantrixil. If there is an existing drainage site for amniocentesis then it would make sense to use that.

    My hesitancy is that I don't know how they are doing the toxicity studies, I assume that they are using an intraperitoneal injection but I don't know that they are doing that or if they doing something else, or doing both IP and other routes of administration.

    What I am interested in knowing is if Cantrixil, administered intraperitoneally, is absorbed by the body and is effective against disease in other parts of the body, eg the liver. The company update issued by Iain Ross seems to indicate that Cantrixil is having an effect on systems outside of the peritoneal cavity.
