I thought more would've been done by now.
After 12 months we are still waiting on the OFS project economics of the combined entity... !
Is Wood milking AVL or is there a lack of drive from AVL's Board and management?
As a refresher, AVL published their BFS in April 2022, with the following: - Production = 11,200t V2O5 pa - CAPEX = USD435m - C1 OPEX = USS4.43/lb - Mine Life = 25 years
In AVL's March-24 presentation they stated that "the aim of the OFS is to improve on these metrics" (p.8)
12 months is long time to optimise a feasibility study. We're not starting from scratch here - process design and equipment were identified in the BFS. The hard work was already done
AVL's Board need to wake up!
