Hi Davoli. There is always exceptions. We have been selling to one customer in India for 20 years now. It's workable and he does have some foresight beyond counting rupees but rare from my experience. Just like China it's very different being a customer to a supplier.
If you ask just about any Indian businessman they don't trust anyone from the north in general terms. People from Calcutta seem incredibly honest and at odds with most of the rest of the country. We also employ Indians as programmers. Nice people but very frustrating at times.
I guess as a country implementing clean energy reforms I don;t see India in any way keeping up with China's can do attitude and follow up.
