$2.2 billion cash bid for extract

  1. 333 Posts.
Guangdong Nuclear Power Company is finally on the verge of tabling a $2.2 billion cash bid for EXT.

CGNPC last night confirmed it had secured control of EXT 42.7% shareholder, Kalahari Minerals, with a flood of eleventh hour acceptances handing it an 89.5% stake in the London listed group. CGNPC has now until March 1st to launch a downstream offer for EXT pitched at $8.65 a share.

EXT were put in a trading halt yesterday, last traded at $8.57.

The excitement around EXT Namibian Husab project, one of the world's biggest undeveloped uranium deposits, is a timely reminder of Africa's growing importance on the global investment stage.

One would only ponder on what the above may have on the future and impact of MLS, at it's current price of around 3 cents surely you would not have to be a Rhodes scholar to say that we are at a bargain basement price, and who knows are we a target for a possible takeover in the near future....I just cannot wait having been in this share for over 5 years, payday I believe will be only a matter of time.
