there is a key difference here
zip charges a $6 fee per month if you have an outstanding balance
if you treat zip like a credit card (which is what young people are doing unbeknownst to them) then you will constantly have an outstanding balance
this is not a late fee and it amounts to effectively interest paid by the customer on top of the commission from merchants
