I was told net cash stands at USD34m post the final BHP payment
USD34m @ FX0.72 = AUD47.2m / 1.18b shares = 4cps cash
Sp closed at 2.2c today which is a 45% discount to net cash of 4cps.
Just thought it deserved to be documented, as I've never seen an oiler trade this cheap before.
3c sp was a 25% discount, and understandable in this market for a speccy with no near term drilling.
Will be interesting to look back in a few weeks/months time.
Either it was a fantastic buying op, or we learn of some horrendous news that the insiders knew ahead of us.
