The management have experience in the process with the other large mine up there. The environmental approval is also a big tick and that really should be due within or around the first qrt. I would expect to see this to start to motor on that permit as its a clear endorsement to the development time table closing in on the final permit. Each of these departments up there need to sign off, so that takes time and is not a pure science on timing. RTG is not about 'if' but 'when' its all signed off.
Each step takes an approx amount of time, so one assumes that the process is very well advanced and we should expect to see some permits signed off in the first qrt based on how long these things usually take. There is more bureaucracy in the Philippines, so it does take a little longer than some countries, but it will get done imo. This team have excellent relationships with the various levels of govt and have said as much. They did on-sell the countries largest mine to one of the current largest shareholders (B2 GOLD).
You would have seen that they recently filed a technical report with the mines department up there. It is a process of delivering paper work, permits , meetings and getting the signatures. dyor
