Citrofresh Biocite is a powder designed for oral administration in the daily feed ration either as part of the pellet ingredients or mixed into the finished ration on farm for flexibility of dosage.
Citrofresh Biocite is specially formulated for ease of administration to intensive livestock systems where individual dosage regimes may not be feasible.

Contributory Components
Citrofresh Biocite contains a rich source of ß-(1-3/ 1-6) - glucan, which has been consistently shown in multitudes of studies as a stimulator of the immune system. It has the ability to activate macrophages, and other white blood cells that have the ß - glucan receptor on their surface Only ß - (1 - 3/ 1 - 6) - glucan interacts with the CR3 protein on macrophages to trigger the immune system Yeast Extracts Well documented beneficial effects on the immune system l contain glucans which stimulate defence cells. They also contain mannan - oligosaccharides which protect the intestinal lining. Contains humulones and iso – humulones from beer hops, which also act as a bactericide. Alginates Supply a wide range of essential micronutrients immunostimulant properties contain trace elements such as iodine which act as immune modulators.
Use at a rate of 2kg of Citrofresh Biocite per tonne of feed daily. It can either be included prior to pelletting or extruding or can be used as a top-dressing directly on to finished feed (addition of an edible oil can aid adhesion of Citrofresh Biocite to the finished feed.) We recommend that you administer Citrofresh Biocite for at least 10 consecutive days minimum. When disease pressure is higher than normal, administration may span up to a 4 – 6 week application, followed by a 3 week layoff. Citrofresh Biocite can be given at any time during the production cycle right up to slaughter. It is especially beneficial for very young or weak animals. Store in a cool dry place in the original container with the lid firmly closed. Protect from excessive humidity or dampness.
Use in Aquaculture
Finfish are very susceptible to a variety of diseases because pathogens can thrive and proliferate rapidly in water. Disease spread is very difficult to control Citrofresh Biocite - Aqua administered in the feed increases the resistance to infectious organisms and controls disease. Particularly effective in intensive fish farms when administered for 10 days at a time. It may be incorporated using either gelatin or edible oil as a binding agent. Use prior to vaccination, transportation or any condition that favours an onset of disease Will stimulate the immune system and It has the effect of greatly reducing pathogen loading in the diet.
Young Fish and Prawns
