If the current situation holds I can't see why not. Despite claims of "gold standard", NSW is the big worry for me. It was damn hard to get it out of some communities in Victoria and to me it just seems to be bubbling away in some areas of Sydney with no will to stamp it out.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if there's still hundreds of cases undetected in greater Sydney. I hope they can keep it from spreading but now we seem to have it under control (this might sound really odd) I totally want Victoria to shut the NSW border.
I have a bunch of normal events (lunches and dinners) planned with friends and family between now and Christmas and to me threatening everything that's been achieved by opening the borders is just not worth it.
Happy for people to quote this back to me but after 9 days of no new infections I'm really worried about letting an interstate case through the door.
