I hope we are just beached on a sand bar waiting for a king tide, to use your analogy. The fact is we don't know what has happened at the mine site, and by "we" I mean non-insiders.
It is extraordinary that we have a situation where the directors know, at least broadly, what has transpired but have not informed shareholders. They say they will release details when they come to hand. That's all well and good, but how about simply telling us the nature of the problem(s) in the meantime ? Others have this information and have been able to trade on this knowledge.
I have held cmr stock for a long time and still hold, but would now welcome a takeover. This fiasco has given me a pretty good idea of the attitude of our board to ordinary shareholders.
I hope GT has been routed out of his London penthouse and is now living out of a Combie van onsite sorting out this mess.
