In retrospect, maybe those "kamikazes" were US hedge funds ahead of the global game or maybe local insto portfolio protection per cfds etc. 1 million shorts in 125 mill share cap really aint much. Did anyone compare against the average % of an XJO constituent? Could have just been portfolio insurance on 10% leverage. Damn, why didnt I think of it ! Same time tho, thats 1 million shares which would need to bought in a panic on a upturn rogue like a good Athabascan U -hit etc. Lotsa drilling going on atm I would think. CMR IMO now drifts in the neutral zone and personally dont care which way from here short term , so long as it moves, cos im looking for it. IMBOOC
