I applaud Buffet's strategy of investing in performance based stocks.
But I agree with Donald Trump who was quoted as saying If the world's trade is not denominated in $US then it is worse than losing a war.
China has already obtained the Intelligence behind most products because China makes most of the products already.
When China, Russia, Iran, Argentina, Brazil, India etc etc do not deal in $US and these countries trade with exact copies of the US products then the US will slide. Imagine if the DXY moves to the 8o's and 90's.
This will super charge gold because the countries I have mentioned have been buying gold for years and it is suggested that the currency they trade in will be gold backed.
I have no idea when this will happen as I do not know when China will invade Taiwan.
But I do believe both will happen.
