My interest is beginning to re-emerge in the exploration space. Ever since I have held this company (3 years or so) it has had a solid wealth generating asset with a huge exploration budget that on any significant discovery boost the share price too another level.
Yamarna has been nothing but a disappointment to be fair given the sheer size of the money they allocate annually too putting drills in the ground (30M this upcoming year).
Now they are drilling Mallina as stated in their announcement...Finally something that could potentially be a large boost to our exploration program and hopefully the share price!
I have borrowed these images from the DEG threads, thanks Gmeister! He/she posted these on the 26/07 and clearly shows drilling has been well underway and even suggests that this may be GOR's activity.







Well it would appear Gmeister may well be correct! Gold Road seem to have pivoted in their latest presentations from the under delivering, under whelming Yarmana and is now focussing on Mallina. With an extensive exploration budget and a 'nearology' play next to one of the largest gold discoveries in Australia this century we may be in for some exploration results. Considering we don't hear a peep out of GOR when there is nothing to report any exploration announcement that may or may not be received in the future should state a significant find. Given our major holding in DEG even an isolated discovery has the potential to offer synergies given the proximity to the Hemi discovery.
