With BRICS being formed and the currencies of those countries having to be backed by a physical commodity we’re going to continue to see gold companies in trouble. I have invested in several gold miners on the asx and they’re all being attacked by short sellers, these people have all borrowed shares from America investment groups that have shares in those companies. I believe that the American banks are trying to get Australian gold and more shares as cheaply as possible as they know what’s coming. America has already admitted that it has no gold reserves, Fort Knox is a myth. The USA only has worthless gold bonds. I get that many will have a different opinion but with the current price of gold there is no reason for all gold mining companies to continue to fall !!
