As a novice from what i understand and i stand to be corrected is that the fed likes the high rates its cash to them , i think the usa doesnt want to totaly topple the economy with such an large debt balance on their hands they will drop the rates when it realy starts to reach the imploding point just thinking but probably wrong glta .
