If one has a big profit on a small miner where the price goes up a lot like GOR and DEG a few years ago it is wise to sell at least 50-75% so at the very least one makes a nice profit and the rest are free shares.Knowing when to sell is probably more important than when to buy.sometimes you sell out too early but better than too late .
The markets very nervous right now ,quite obvious a major recession is coming .Hopefully it wont morph into a depression.
DEG is suffering because it has no revenue ,is foolishly spending 10 million a month looking for reserves they Would appear not too need.Permitting is not approved ,even if they have ordered long lead items the plant completion is being delayed day by day ,week by week ,month by month while costs go up .
GOR has been absolutely foolish to invest in DEG now they are probably stuck .I doubt they could sell there hundreds of millions of deg shares that they own.DEG management is in cloud cuckoo land and totally oblivious to what is going on .They need to be replaced just like GOR management.
It is quite obvious with such a large and complex plant processing sulphide ore that costs are going WAY up.
Hopefully a few people listened and got out of DEG/GOR .
