It didnt. But if it was likely to, I would probably pay the difference and close the option out. If it closed at 1.57, Id pay 2c a share, and retain my holding. If it closed very strongly near $2 (Id have addressed it long before the day of expiry), but id likely just let the stock go at 1.55 happy that it was part of the plan when i bought that parcel at 1.40ish.
