Yes gold is going up. Despite US debt situation they need to keep spending to buy votes on both sides. Gold going >$3k as night follows day. What will accelerate is if there is any fall in confidence in alternatives (ie crypto). The population has less than 1.2% gold in their wealth portfolio. If this simply reverts to 2% > watch out !
