Totally different situation i know, but Metex a few months back had a free 10c option with a decent expiry date ( 2006 ). 1 option for every 2 shares in a rights issue from memory. was trading about 10c at the time.

Metex options came on the boards about 6c. Options now fallen to 4.5 c, shares at 8.5c. A very large premium for the options.

I know everythings different between the two companys, their securities and situations. But its an example
