Revenue slipped to $18.40 billion, from $18.91 billion. The results included about $540 million of costs associated with its acquisition of Bear Stearns. The mean estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Reuters was for earnings of 47 cents a share on $16.64 billion in revenue
