WE sell stocks for all sorts of reasons. Downrampers often help many decide to sell when they may have otherwise held their stock.
I have been posting for quite some time now on WHA and have been warning shareholders not to sell their stock. I have repeated many times that those that resist the temptation to sell will be richly rewarded.
Sometimes the hardest thing to do after investing in a company is to actually do nothing and just sit tight and let the story play out.
Too many people over think things, sell their shares and then a few months later wished they hadn't.
I guess you can thank your lucky stars you only sold half.
