"If no ann then linc tends to drift down in a non-linear fashion"
Linc in fact doesn't drift as it is tightly connected to its sector most of the time. Its a bit more easily seen in this chart. If the sector drifts then so will LNC but if the sector rises it will tend to rise also.
My theory is that the bots playing with LNC are actually using something similar to sector analysis to either short or go long when there is no news.
The following chart shows that the oilers and Alternative coalers are amongst the best performers out of the resource stocks although that is really nothing to brag about.
