As with most fast moving tech sectors, technology seems to overtake companies...it is called the S curve. Discarding old technology, and embracing new technology. This is costly for old and new players. I think ADSL has peaked or at least plateaud so a pause is required to see what direction the industry takes. Telstra is in the middle and is controlling the action on new technology, hence the exit by funds as they do not wait around for things to happen. Until the government and industry get together, stay away from the sector.
