Thank you for that Acorn.

His bottom line about battery size for a 42.5 Kg GCM Semi is 5.6 ton

A B Double is 65 ton GCM

so if we do a simple calc based on his estimate we get

65/42.5 X 5.6 which is 8.56 Ton battery for a B double.

I guess this is significantly short of my Car to B Double comparison
of 11 ton but it nevertheless illustrates that with present technology
E-Trucks are not capable of replacing Diesels yet not only because of initial
capital cost but also operational costs as exemplified by the acute
payload reduction.
