The downsides for Tesla are: -product recalls -China factory Covid lockdowns -reliance on China for components (given that the US is in a defacto economic war with China) -other mainstream competitors coming on stream.
Traditionally the auto manufacturing business has been dicey with more biting the dust than surviving and of course the Tesla question is: "can it survive"?
If it wobbles, then Toyota, Merc Benz or VW will likely gobble it up, IMO.
