a2 have never said the A2 protein is ok for people medically diagnosed as lactose intolerant. They have said they believe that many who think they are lactose intolerant may actually be A1 intolerant. That is what the results of this study show to be the case. Note a2 do not claim every instance of self diagnosed lactose intolerance is A1 intolerance merely that some may be.
