I sometimes wonder if it were reversed...
and the independents voted with the coalition
and labor were ahead on the primary vote by 700,000 votes
and the coalition were ahead by 0.7% on the 2PP...
wouldn't labor supporters be bragging about being so much ahead on the primary vote and that the 2PP doesn't matter...
