re: announcement out 30 per cent increase

This new resource adds 66,000 tonnes of copper and 65,500 ounces of gold to the Company’s inground
metal inventory for the Cloncurry Copper Project (CCP), which now totals 344,768 tonnes of
copper and 347,900 ounces of gold as tabulated below. Overall CCP resource tonnages have been
increased by 30% to 34.8 million tonnes including 26 million tonnes at the E1 Camp. Since July 2006
the Company has now increased Cu and Au inventories by 44% and 80% respectively.
