It's an interesting conundrum for CATL to invest in Novonix..with all the sabre rattling between Australia and China going on atm.
The question is would the Australian Government allow it as such? Would there be some regulation or cap as to whether they can invest and if so, how much?
Then again the Chinese behemoth Tencent bought out a sizeable stake in Australian company Afterpay earlier this year, so anythings possible.
It's an interesting conundrum for CATL to invest in...
