The Chinese can still buy a good stake in a Australian minieral companies without buying the whole companies. I think that we will see this if they can't buy up in full. That way they are still insuring they have access to raw minerals and that is really what they are after. Australia does not want to give up all its future income on materials. Its the new cash cow of our economy so why would we give it all up.. Once Australia relied on wool now its raw materials.
