I aim to use the indicators that the market is referencing.
This generally means I use the SMA for longer time periods such as 200 day (which is definitely in play here)
and EMA for shorter such as 20, and sometimes 50.
But I'll check the others if it doesn't quite look right.
I agree with your approach;
Give it maybe 2 weeks for target, but if it gets there in a week I'll find it hard not to take profits.
However in such situations I sometimes try doing the opposite of my first instinct.
i.e. the Costanza method.
