sp under $1.30 was available to purchase after rumours first broke about US sale but your still buying into speculation (even now) until we formally hear ... Plus you have been at risk since then including a quarterly, taking on the BEOT shorters , phishing attack etc . 50% gain baked in since then but it's not as if SP doubled overnight.
the technicals on chart were so bad it only staked up from a "sum of the parts" valuation perspective with the transaction risk attached. If it didn't eventuate as shorts were hoping we would be back to square 1 and out of funds by Christmas .
i do agree not ideal outcome but I said this already 1 month ago . But the alternative may likely have been worse
