Maybe. Would be nice but I doubt by the end of this year. If you told me by mid-Feb then I would agree.
The last 20 years of investing in gold and goldminers, I've always found that gold and goldminers has a seasonality tailwind Mid-September to Mid-February the next year. That should get this over the $2 line.
In any case I'm not here for a trade. I'm here to invest for the LT term (3+ years). So $2 is a great milestone but not necessary to drive that investment point of view.
