I don't think Zip is cheap but they have managed arrears super well so your comment isn't correct at all. Many young people use Zip with debit cards and practice reasonable financial control. I have been waiting for a decent uptick in arrears and follow Zip closely to better understand this type of consumer and that hasn't actually happened despite the cost of living crisis.
