Affirm has a large and strong Balance Sheet still with significant shareholder equity, despite large and recurrent losses. I t does minimal BNPL. ZIP is small with a badly damaged Balance Sheet and minimal shareholder equity. They're peers but financially remote from each other. IMO stonks is setting out the difference between safety of capital return and the wild uncertain punt in ZIP which has no foundation in the underlying financials. BOQ and Bendigo offer safety and a decent return, which in turn spur their SPs on over time. The opposite is true with ZIP
