Affirm it expects fiscal Q3 adjusted operating margin to drop from its fiscal Q2 level.
The company expects fiscal Q3 gross merchandise volume of $5.8B-$6.0B (surpasses the Visible Alpha consensus estimates of $3.73B) and revenue of $530M-$660M vs. $487.8M consensus.
Adjusted operating margin is expected to be 6%-8% compared with 15.7% in fiscal Q2.
Expects fiscal year 2024 gross merchandise value of more than $25.25B, up from its previous guidance of more than $24.5B exceeding the Visible Alpha consensus of $24.8B.
Its guidance for adjusted operating margin increased to more than 11%, compared with its previous outlook for more than 5%.
Generally Affirm's US business, not unrelated to ZIP's of course, an analyst beat and business going well. Its stock price trades at ridiculously higher valuation multiples and after hours moves a very short sighted ZIP share price barometer.
